Halo Studios
Halo Studios is the Microsoft-owned developer behind the Halo franchise, based in Redmond, Washington. Originally founded in 2007 as 343 Industries — named after the Halo character 343 Guilty Spark — the studio was created to take over the series from Bungie, who had developed the original games before departing from Microsoft. Halo Studios is responsible for titles including Halo 4, Halo 5: Guardians, and Halo Infinite, as well as the Master Chief Collection.
Creatively, the studio is focused on changing not just how Halo games are made, but what they feel like — with the goal of recapturing the magic of the franchise. Central to this is an emphasis on early community collaboration and involvement.
