John Harris
During a career that has spanned six decades, the art of John Harris has appeared on the covers of dozens of books by some of the true giants of science fiction, including Isaac Asimov, John Scalzi, Orson Scott Card and Ann Leckie. In 1984 NASA invited him to witness the launch of the Space Shuttle and his painting depicting that moment now hangs in the Kennedy Space Centre. His visionary art has been a lifelong inspiration to many artists and creatives working in the field of science-fiction.
